About Us: Hallowell & Co. incorporated as a full-time, federally-licensed firearms business in Greenwich, Connecticut in 1983. In 1999, we sold our Greenwich building to Griffin & Howe and moved to Livingston, Montana. Our primary interests lie in high quality, artisanal sporting guns in fine original condition---single shot rifles, custom rifles, double shotguns and double rifles by the best makers, from the beginning of the cartridge era to the present. We look forward to being of service.

Description:
24" tapered round Nickel Steel barrel with King gold-bead front sight on original integral base and Rocky Mountain rear sight. Custom stocked by Ike Ellis of Idaho Falls, with exhibition grade figured walnut, checkered similarly to the factory E-Style, wrapping fully under both wrist and forend, and with steel carbine buttplate. Profusely engraved by Lee Griffiths with horseman shooting distant bull elk in a mountain scene on left, vignettes of elk and bear on left, all generously enhanced with greyed acanthus scroll and gold borderlines on receiver, lever, breech forend tip, muzzle and buttplate. The last 1886 mfd in 1911. Rebuilt ca 10 years ago. Virtually new condition and with an excellent, original bore.
