Fine condition Civil War Burnside percussion carbine.Retains much original finish. Barrel apx 90% blue with fine clean and bright rifled bore. Barrel maked CAST STEEL Frame ad lever have much original finish. Frame maked BURNSIDE PATENT MODEL OF 1864.Matched serial number 10320. Lock marking was lightly stamped (not due to buffing or cleaning)..Mechanices are excellent. Unsanded walnut stock has two VG cartouches and service related dents/scratches. Has saddle bar and ring. Folding rear sight. Sling swivel on buttstock. Carbine saw service but was very well cared for..Sold as a collector item, not warranted to shoot safely. Very nice Burnside.
