Description:
Bolo Mauser Pistol, caliber 7.63mm Mauser. Mixed serial numbers, frame number is 645645. Barrel 3.9 inches, serial number 531002. Condition: 40% blue, overall turnng to brown patina. Surface pitting and wear spots. Bore dark and rough, but serviceable. All internal parts in excellent condition. Functions OK, in firing condition.
Markings: Top of barrel extension and frame right: Waffenfabrik Mauser, Oberndorf A/N. Crown-over-U on barrel and bolt. Frame left, Mauser Banner. Barrel extension, very small 7.63mm (probably placed by importer). Frame right, small, poorly stamped name...importer? Large Chinese characters on left barrel expension. I have been told that this says Shanghai Police Department.
