This Marlin-Ballard was made around 1876. On the gun it says from the J.M. Marlin Co. Looks better than the photo's, barrell is shiny, Octigon barrel mostly patina, furniture is 98%, action very tight, original case coloring on reciever still remains but faint. for a gun well over 130 years old this gun is aging well. Beatiful speciman of a piece of Wild West History.
