Description:
22lr, serial number 160XXX. 26.5" barrel. Single shot. BUG proofed, 4/1959 manufacture. Mauser banner on top bridge, DRPDRGM on right side. Mauser logo in stock. Rear sight assembly missing, Redfield peep sight added and metal has been annealed to add sight. Front sight hood missing. Metal in good condition, shows minor pitting in small places. Ch51s stamped in barrel. Bore is excellent. Walnut stock has been notched for Redfield sight and outline of checkering pattern on both sides of grip. Chipping around buttplate, otherwise shows normal wear for this era gun with use. Banner metal buttplate shows some minor pitting and discoloration. Trigger guard has knurling for off-hand position.
