Description:
The banana shaped lock places this fine gun before 1740. Overall length is about 15 1/2" long with a 9 3/8" round barrel.The furniture is brass, and the lock- plate and top pf barrel proofs state: G.B, ZVG, N.O. The French Burl walnut was very high quality. This fine gun needs restoration, as the wood has breaks and a piece is missing from the left side. The cock works on both positions and the gun has trigger, as well as wrist escutcheon inlaid. Restored this fine gun would be valuable due to the quality of workmanship.
