SPRINGFIELD KRAG U.S. MODEL 1898 RIFLE. .30-40 U.S. caliber. All original. 75% plus original blue. Receiver and loading gate with greyish case hardening. Stock and hand guard with the original finish and a good “JLA” government inspector’s cartouche. Very good bright bore. Excellent working order. Has the original sectional cleaning rod and oiler in the butt plate trap. Very nice looking example with reproduction sling.
