NEW PRICE! NEW PRICE! NEW PRICE! SPRINGFIELD 1903 CUSTOM RIFLE #1286XXX, .30'06 with professionally shortened 21" barrel with a near excellent bore. Metal surfaces retain 98% of the gunsmith applied blue with some toning to deep purple. The bright bolt handle and body show some light staining with the rear assembly retaining all its blue. The superbly carved stock features some very nice figure with a shadowline cheek piece and finely executed checkered panels all in excellent condition. There is a checkered steel grip cap and and Pachmayr Presentation butt pad. The rifle is equipped with a ramped and hooded front sight and the top of the receiver has been drilled and tapped for scope mounting but no rear sight is present.
THIS IS A GREAT LOOKING, WELL EXECUTED CUSTOM '03 WHICH WOULD PROVE TO BE A DELIGHT TO HANDLE IN THE WOODS!
