Very Interesting piece of American History. Large Bowie Style Knife with engraving:
" Imperial Order of Ku Klux Klan" Convention 1907 Bristol Tenn.
No such Convention was ever held in 1907. Knife was made in the 1950's -1960's not in large quantity.
Knife is 16 1/2'' Long.
Blade - 10 1/2'' and 2'' wide.
Weigh - almost 2 lb.
Bronze gard has some marking on it.
This knife was purchased from a private collection belonging to Herb Reed (The Platters).
