25" lugged barrel with ramp front sight and type-II 2-folding-leaf rear sight. Original checkered walnut Monte Carlo stock with early-type steel reinforcing crossbolt, added ebony forend tip, original classic point-pattern checkering, swivel studs, discrete glass-bedding and brown Decelerator pad. Lyman 48 receiver sight. Pull: 13 1/2". Barrel dated 1955. Mfd 1956. 99% barrel blue, 98% receiver blue, 60% floorplate blue, 50% bolt handle blue. At your option, shoot .375 H&H cartridges; they simply fireform to the slightly larger case size.
