Smith & Wesson Victory .38 S&W caliber revolver. Smith & Wesson Victory model. U. S. property marked .38 S&W caliber and has not been rechambered to .38 Special. Bright bore and action works perfectly. Grip has some light gouge on the upper right grip. Frame has some very light pits on the right side. The left side of the frame has a spot where it has been ground off about the size of the top of a pencil eraser. (Pretty small). These were issued after World War II to the West German Bundeswehr (Police). They marked the back of the frame with their police marks and removed (ground off) when they turned them in for alloy frame post war P-38's.
