Description:
The very rare Remington Model 1890 Single Action in 44/40. Only about 2000 ever produced. Blue model with nice smooth patina, and excellent working condition. Solid action and locks up good. Bore is a nice 8/10, only light pitting. Left side of frame marked "44 CFW"
Grips have a chip out of the heel that looks to have been repaired from an old Colt grip, see photos. Serial #1838 underneath left grip on frame, shows manufacture about 1894.
