Description:
Winchester M-21 20 ga Skeet - an attractive and nice handling gun that has after-market engraving and stock. It has 28" barrels choked WS 1 and WS 2. LOP 14 3/4" x 1 1/4" and 2 1/4". The Ser # 14569 has no record at Cody. The stock is a pretty one with nice figure but it is not factory. A very popular Winchester gunsmith in Indiana (who did the beautiful jewelling you will see in the pictures) said "there was no Ser # on the stock and the pad was glued on--no screws. A new Pachmayr Old English pad was installed. If you would like to see how OspreyGuns of Long Island , N.Y. advertised this gun I'd be glad to fax it to you..!!! I had the gun evaluated by Dave Riffle, who most of you know from his books on M-21's and Win M-12's. He indicated that the forend and barrel bluing are the only things original on the gun. When the previous owner had the stock replaced he had "E" style carving put on the stock which does not match the original style for a Skeet grade.
