Description:
Unusual Spanish made .32 acp that as the long grip for a nine shot magazine. These were made and used in WWI , Spanish Civil War, and WWII French partisans. the slide is marked: 7.65 1914 MODEL AUTOMATIC PISTOL M. ZULAICA & Co. EIBAR. Has a proof mark on the frame of ZC and the mag has AL! The metal finish is a mixture of soft blue, thinning and grey. One small dent on top of slide near the rear sight, and checkered European walnut grips in good condition with not much wear evident.Action is very strong, and the 3 1/4" long barrel has soft rifling, clean but some surface roughness from using corrosive primer ammo, and will spin a bullet good enough. I think this ole' gal could tell a story or two! WWI pistols were always a private purchase by officers of any country so it may have started it's life as this type of gun.When the war started there was a severe short of small arms and these type pistols were often purchased by French and English officers.
