Description:
Colt Government Model (1911) with possible Canadian WWI use. This early Government Model with Ser Num C 9977 has initals cartouched on the left side of the frame (J.C.W.) and a 'B' inspectors stamp on the right side of the frame to the right of the ser number and slightly higher. This pistol is otherwise correct for an early Govt Model including a 'P' marked barrel with excellent bore and all proper period parts. It retains 60-70% original blue and has a correct Magazine.
