Browning Belgium A-5, 1947 -251XXX - . It's a 98% on Bluing and Wood. No dings, scratches or fading.It
came out of an estate and judging by the gun case that came with it might have been stored for a long time.
The barrel is a Ventilated Rib w/** (Mod Choke) and is 30" in length with the "Made in Belgium" on the r - side. The receiver has the correct "Browning Arms Co. - St Louis" on the L-side with engraving, including "Mr. Browning's head siloutte encircled". and the initials "LV" on the lower left. The R-side has the engraving lengthwise of about 4 1/2" w/LV initialls on the lower right. Both upper and lower tangs have engraving also. This fine Browning is to me "Collector Quality".
The stock is w/o blemish it and the forend is the same. Nice gun !
