Description:
The left ocular of these glasses is marked on the rear "military stereo/6X30" and on the front "S1/No 32951" The right reads "G/Bausch & Lomb optical Co./Rochester N.Y. USA". The front of both oculars has a broad arrow engraved to show that these glasses are the property of thw war office of the admiralty. See page 139 a&b on pge 139 in "A guide to military handhold binoculars by Dr. Stephens Rohan. The right ocular has a graph installed. Included is a heavy canvas carry case stamped under the flap "MS & U1 Ltd. 1942 C broad arrow" Canada supplied the majority of the binocular cases furing WWII to the British. The left glass has a crack through the center. Complete unit for the WW11 Collector.
