Description:
Serial #5714, .32 RF, 6” octagon barrel with a fine, bright bore that has a small amount of freckling along its length. This is a handsome revolver that has matching assembly numbers on the barrel and cylinder, while the frame, which has a small topstrap repair on the left side, has a factory rework star under the grips on the right side. The frame and barrel have retained 97-98% of the factory refinish while the cylinder has about 40-50% flaked original blue remaining and dark plum-brown on the balance. The hammer has traces of color case-hardening remaining with a bright patina on the sides and the barrel lock-up is tight without any discernible lateral play. The rosewood grips are numbered to the gun on the interior and have been refinished to fine shape with a slightly glossy added varnish and a single short hairline crack on the butt of the right side panel. The mechanism functions flawlessly and the revolver rates fine condition as refinished. Antique
