Description:
S# SK0458 12 GA 2 3/4 inch, 28 inch vent rib barrels, bright excellent bore, skeet chokes. Second gun: S# T.458, 12 GA 2 3/4 inch, 30 inch high vent rib barrels, bright excellent bores, choked improved modified and full. The skeet gun remains in near new condition with 100% blue and gold fill. The wood has no dings or marks and breech face shows no wear. LOP remains 14 inches with drops of 1 1/4 inch and 1 3/4 inches. The trap gun shows a little use with 99% blue and about 25% gold fill remaining. Breech face shows the beginning of a head impression. Wood has a few light handling marks. LOP remains 14 1/4 inches with drops of 1 1/2 and 1 1/2 inches to Monte Carlo comb. Both guns have the updated trigger as evidenced by two Hex head screws installed at bottom of each breech face. The updates were apparently done at Remington as each receiver has a small DOT added to the serial number. These come with the original hard green cases and original shipping boxes. Interior of the green cases is gone. These also come with two Remington return boxes, used for return from trigger rework. These beautiful shotguns were built in 1973 and 1974 with about sixty matched pairs sold. FFL
