#31864, Winchester Model 21 Field Grade in 12 Bore Ordered by W. G. Whitehouse on January 17, 1958 & Completed May 23, 1958, It was ordered with 28" barrels, .736 .018 & .040" (Mod. & Full), Factory marked Mod. & Full, 3" chambers, Beavertail forend, Straight stock at 14 1/16 x 1 5/8 x 2 5/8" over a 7/8" Style #2 leather pad and so lettered, 7 lbs. 7 oz., Flat side frame, Very nice feather crotch wood with excellent color, The barrel blue remains at 97%, The receiver blue is 99%, The trigger guard blue is 96%, The wood finish is at 92-94%, The checkering remains at 95%; The barrels inside & out are excellent plus and are totally free of any dings, dents or rust and look like new. It is cased in a new leather trunk with a canvas cover and a Model 21 trade label. This is a very honest M-21 Factory Lettered Field Grade that is lettered to the specs above including the leather pad, straight stock, stock dimensions, chokes and the silver oval with the correct initials.
