Description:
This pistol was produced between 1917 to 1942. The serial number is 523640. It is fitted with the June 5th 1917 diamond center grips The grips are in minty condition. The color cased finish on the hammer and trigger is strong and colorful. There is a faint drag line between the cylinder stops. That is pretty much typical for Smith & Wesson revolvers to have that drag line. The blue finish is very bright and would rate a strong 99% condition. The only blemish is by the right side just above the trigger, there are some very faint scratches. This pistol appears to have not been fired or in any way used. I feel confident in saying that it is as new in the original box! The red box is serial numbered to this pistol. The box is in fine condition. The label is clear and clean. There are no box contents present. This is a really stunning Smith & Wesson revolver that would make any collector proud to have as one of their top collectables! Early Smith & Wessons in this kind of condition just do not come up for sale that often!
