Description:
Although this Savage model 1899 does not have the original stock but it does have a round barrel (which is scarce), and has the unfired shots indicator which draws a premium for this model.

Manufacturer: Aprox. 1903.
Caliber Info: .303 Savage
Metal Condition: Most of the bluing on the receiver and lever has been worn off, as well as a good majority of the barrel as well. No signs of pitting.
Wood Condition: A few handling marks and indents, but this is not the original stock. There is also a 1 1/4' long crack on the right side of the stock starting at the butt pad.
Bore Condition: Bright and shiny with very strong rifling.
Barrels: 26' round barrel.
Stock: Smooth pistol grip. NOT ORIGINAL STOCK.

Butt Pad: Pachmayr vented rubber pad.
