Algerian Miguelet Lock rifle. Manufactured circa 1800. These rifles have a recognizable form and lock found on guns of the Kabyle Berber tribe indigenous to the mountains of Northern Algeria. The high quality locks are said to be mad in Italy, and subsequently sent to Algeria. Action works perfectly. Barrel length is 56” and overall length is 72”. Impressive Middle Eastern rifle!
