Description:
A good functioning muzzle loader of the 19th century with a 30" smooth bore barrel. This gun has no sights and the back action lock is chisel engraved as is the hammer and a marking of: L&T. The European hard wood stock is in good condition with a few field use dings and shallow surface scratches. Comes with an old wooden ram rod, and the stock has carved very accurately an ELK portrait, and the wrist area has striated lines and half loops. The carving is complete and done artfully. I've seen these before and possibly one factory had made these from Liege. Lock works well, and the metal is a smooth grey. The bore has fouling from the last shooter and some mild pits but not too bad. Caliber for ball is about .68/70 caliber or about 12ga.light load.We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check.
