Aclean Eddystone with a very good bore,some frosting in the grooves, and the action very smooth, The medal is 97% military finish.The barrel dated 09-18, and the American walnut stock is very good,with a hand rubbed oil finish, and some roughness from handling, but no damage, with minor wartime dings, and scrapes, nothing serious. Overall a clean gun that's not been abused.SN 1151354. this gun was arsenal refinished after the war for possible use in a later war like WWII. Action locks up tight, and is a good example of the clean WWI rifle. I don't see any arsenal proofs, so the stock again like the metal may have gone to an arsenal to be refurbished.We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in.
