Description:
This turn of the century revolver was made in Norwich as stated on the barrel, and sold through Thayer , Robertson and Cary around 1905 to 1910, and has a desirable 5" long barrel with a very clean rifled bore. The finish was once nickled like most top breaks during that time, and now has about 20% original finish mostly along the barrel and the frame looks like it was cleaned up long ago as it has some very fine surface oxidation.The black hard rubber grips have a hunting horn motif, and the gun seems to be DA only. The extractor rises up to extract the shells, and doesn't fall, I suspect that the washer with a tooth in the base of the barrel needs to be turned over as it may have been incorrectly installed when someone field stripped the gun in the past.Gun locks up but the cylinder stop allows the cylinder to move or wobble, possibly a design flaw or the cylinder stop needs to have metal added to it to thicken the wide. The stop doesn't look like it was messed with and looks original and good condition.Overall a rare top break! We don’t have asite .I prefer money orders or a check. Item ships when funds come in.
