MAUSER OBERNDORF FACTORY MODEL 98 TYPE S 8X57 CAL. CARBINE CIRCA 1930’S. 20” barrel. Lyman receiver sight and factory double set triggers. Need front sight blade. Quick release magazine lever. Full length carbine factory checkered walnut stockstamped on right side of butt “GERMANY”. Mauser factory horn butt plate with embossed Mauser logo. Superb condition with 99% original blue and stock finish. Butt plate with typical worm holes. Has seen almost no use and has a mint bore. All matching and 100% original. Rare and the best we have seen.
