- Condition: Wood Very Good, shows traces of varnish from many years ago. Metal shows patina throughout exterior. Blue thinning and/or bare metal over significant areas of barrel and action. Small area of more serious rust on left face of action. Bore shows darkening, and surface deterioration from mercuric priming, and/or black powder. Save for the evidence of varnish from the distant past, the rest of rifle is original finish, and completely original. Rare caliber adds premium to desireability.
