Description:
Krieghoff Drilling with Zeiss Scope 16 Ga. & 7x57R. 23 1/2" barrels, thumb actuated flip up rear sight, quick release claw mounts, and a Carl Zeiss 1.5x6 variable power scope with heavy German post and horizontal crosswires. The 16 gauge barrels have 2 3/4" chambers. The engraved receiver features double triggers, double locking lumps, Greener cross-bolt and side-clips. There are cocking indicators for each barrel and a Greener side-mount, thumb actuated safety. The walnut, pistol grip and checkered stock has a beaded cheekpiece, hard rubber pistol grip, serrated butt-plate and sling swivel. The splinter walnut forend is checkered and has an engraved Deeley release lever. The barrel foreward of the forend has a fair amount of blue remaining, but from the forend tip to the receiver the barrel blue is quite worn. The receiver is virtually free of case colors but has some blue remaining on the release lever and a lesser amount on the trigger guard. The butt-stock has a dowel and glue repair in the wrist on the left side and there are two horizontal dents in the cheek on the left side (probably as a result from being in a vise when the wrist was repaired). There is a crack in the right cheek. Otherwise there are minor scratches throughout the butt-stock and a few in the forend. The shotgun bores are very bright and shiny with just a hint of corrosion in the surface in a few places, where as the rifling, lands and grooves of the 7x57 Rimmed bore is a bit greyed with light corrosion throughout and a couple of minor pits near the breech. The scope shows some external surface wear but the lens look quite good and clear. The drilling and scope weighs 8 Lbs. 2 Oz. and without weighs 7 Lbs.
