Description:
Serial #*1317, .22 RF, 3 1/8” octagon barrel with a very good bore that has patches of dark freckling along its length. The revolver has an overall mottled gray patina on the barrel and cylinder while the brass frame has an overall dull ochre patina throughout with hints of verdigris around the cylinder opening. The revolver has a few traces of original white metal plating visible on the sides of the high spur hammer, and there is light-moderate damage to the frame and grip screw slots. The original walnut grips are in very good plus condition with scattered mild surface scratches and light handling marks on either side. The lock-up is still tight and the revolver is mechanically excellent. Included with the revolver is an original March 23, 1947 dated RCMP handgun registration certificate that lists the owner as Ms. Margaret Seeley of Dingwall, Victoria County, Nova Scotia. The gun is listed by serial number and is described as a “Keepsake” on the form. Antique
