Description:
Serial #C941661, .38 Special, 5” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a very nice, pinned barrel revolver whose metal surfaces retain 95-97% original blue with some silvering at the muzzle, a couple of small scuffs on the frame, a little gray/brown thinning with scattered spots of freckling on the backstrap. There are a few other minor handling marks and a light turn-ring on the cylinder. The color case-hardening is still strong on the hammer and trigger with some gray fading along the edges. The checkered walnut grips with S&W medallions are numbered to the gun and rate very good overall, with a few light handling marks and a little minor flattening of the of the points on either side. The lock-up is still tight and this is a very nice Model 10 in fine-near excellent condition. FFL
