Description:
Serial #371680, .32 ACP, 3 7/8” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1967 proof-dated pistol that retains about 92-95% of the original blue finish with some traces of silvering on the edges of the grip frame and some mild surface freckling along the backstrap. There are some further spots of silvering on the bottom edges of the slide along with some very small surface blemishes and light scratches as well. The checkered black Walther banner grips rate about very good with the front edge of the left panel exhibiting a narrow, wedge-shaped groove, probably to repair a surface chip, however the panel remains intact. A pair of Walther magazines are included: one with finger-rest, and one flat-base. The pistol is housed in an original satin and velvet-lined, blue leatherette covered presentation case with lightly worn Walther banner on the interior of the lid. This is a great example of a pre-import marked Walther with a scarce original case and would make a great addition to any collection. FFL
