Description:
Serial #909342, .38 Special, 6” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This 1966-made revolver retains about 80% plus of the original blue finish with moderate holster wear on the barrel and cylinder in addition to the backstrap and frame knuckle fading to a freckled pewter gray patina. The checkered walnut factory grips with silver Colt medallions are hand numbered to the gun on the interior and are in very good-fine condition with scattered light scratches, dents and wear. The butt of the gun is stamped “N.Y.S.C.D.” which designates the New York State Conservation Department, known as the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation since 1970, and the was the department responsible for management and enforcement of fish and game laws. The revolver has good lock-up and functions flawlessly in single and double-action. This is a great, state marked revolver and is in very good-near fine condition overall. FFL
