For your viewing is a 98 mauser chambered in 22-250 cal. Rifle is from a estate, so no information on maker. this rifle has no caliber designation on it's 24" barrel. so to determine the chamber, i did a chamber cast, and miked it out to be 22-250 Rem. with 1-12 twist the rifle has aadjustable trigger with a side safety and for reasons unknown, the stock is glass bedded all the way to the forearm tip. I test fired the rifle with my hand loads and two shots hit at 1/2" apart. no barrel maker mark on the barrel. The rifle is well put together, in very good condition, just needs some one to shoot it. scope is a Bushnell Banner 6-24
