ATTENTION BROWNING COLLECTORS: This is without a doubt the finest pre-depression A-5 I have seen in 40 years. Complete with the St. Louis MO address on the barrel. This is NOT a Sweet Sixteen and the term was yet to be coined (I hope that's clear enough for you used car salesmen). Made in Belgium in 1926 (according to the Blue Book) but I think it's earlier because of the 40K serial number. (Browning will not make a guess either way). Mirror bore and the metal is in 99% condition with the wood about a 98% because of a few light handling marks. 27 1/2" modified barrel with a brass bead sight. Black butt plate has 2 minor chips. 14 1/4" LOP. All original! Includes an older Browning takedown 2 barrel hard case. It even has the original owner's manual. Free shipping to your FFL in the lower 48 as long as he or she will accept shipment from a non-ffl with a copy of my driver's license. Dont let this one get away. Price is firm.
