Description:
A very nice all original 1873 Winchester rifle in 32-20 caliber. This rifle has serial number 339594 that has verified manufacture date of May 20th 1890. This is an NRA rated "good" 3rd Model Rifle and has a certified factory letter or origin from the Cody Museum. There are a very few minor rust spots and the original bluing has a brownish patina. Both forearm and stock are in excellent condition as originally finished with some oil soak with no scratches or chips and the gun has aged well. All internal mechanisms work properly and the original dust cover is intact. Bore has strong rifling. Original issue Winchester front site with brass blade and correct period buckhorn rear sight with proper period elevator. An excellent example of the early 1873 Winchester, that can be sent directly to a Buyer without having to utilize a FFL transfer.
