Winchester pre 64 model 42 Pigeon Grade.Built in 1953,this gun has the round post,donut base factory vent rib.The 26" barrel is choked skeet.The gun has a highly figured straight stock and deluxe forend.The receiver and barrel are engraved in the #5 pattern and signed by J.L.Salerno who was an engraver for Winchester.This gun was probably engraved after it left the factory,as Winchester did not allow the engravers to sign factory guns.This gun is in as new condition,retaining 100% of the blue and wood finish.A gret addition to any collection.C&R eligible.
