Description:
PENDING SALE-This is a like-new pair of Mauser 66 sporting rifles in 30-06 and 375 H&H. They are from an estate, and I'm not sure they have been fired; the bolt faces, bores, and feed rails are pristine. The Mauser 66 features a telescopic bolt that allows for a shorter overall action. The workings of the action are slick as can be, reminiscent of the Mannlicher-Schoenauer rifles of the 1950s-70s.
The caliber combination would make an excellect pair for safari, covering Plains Game and Dangerous Game, in calibers where ammunition can be found anywhere in the world.
The 30-06 has the darker wood and forend cap, and is equipped with Conetrol bases. I have Conetrol 1" ringsets for both rifles which will be included.
Price is for both rifles; quite a bargain if you check elsewhere.
