Description:
This Australian built rifle is marked on the stock socket "MA/Lithgow/SMLE/MK111*/1941" with the receiver marked A broad arrow F" (Australian Air Force). C 52433 is the serial number. The bolt is mismatched. Bright, excellent bore with the mismatched bolt showing the BSA 3 rifle trademark, the butt stock has a white paint band near the brass butt plate. The stock shows the dings and bruises of a WWII Veteran. * which would indicate a commercial replacement bolt which would be more likely in a air force issue rifle, which this piece is. FFL or C&R
