Description:
Serial #3710294, .30-06, 24” barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a handsome rifle has an early, four-groove "RA" barrel and retains 98-99% of an arsenal re-applied parkerized finish that has silvered slightly on some of the high edges and corners as well as along the bearing surfaces of the bolt. The walnut stock has been nicely refinished to excellent shape, but the “F.J.A.” and Ordnance Dept. cartouches are now only faintly visible on the left side of the wrist. Minor handling marks and small blemishes are present, but these are negligible, and there is some mild freckling on the buttplate. An original sheet metal front sight hood is included. This is a great looking World War II '03-A3 that was refurbished after the war and rates fine condition overall. FFL or C&R
