Cal 44. Fancy gun with all the bells and whistles. Many extra features on this gun. Deluxe with 2 X's on the lower tang and an assembly number matching the other parts of the gun. This has a checkered pistol grip dlx wood. Case colored frame has aged to an antique grey color. Faint case colors showing in places. Nice smooth metal. 24" round bbl is equipped with a Sheard multi leaf express sight and combination front globe sight. Also has a tang sight. Bbl finish is still blue with some wear. Especially on the right. Very nice blue between bbl and mag tube. Mag tube has considerable blue. Beautiful bright shiny bore. Orig dust cover. Nice smooth action. A very handsome Winchester 1873 second model!
