CIVIL WAR REMINGTON U.S. NEW MODEL .44 CAL. ARMY REVOLVER CIRCA 1863. 8” octagon barrel with “E. REMINGTON & SONS. ILION, NEW YORK” address. All original and complete except the loading lever which is an old correct replacement showing less wear than the gun. Very good example with the original patina and war with no restorations. Nice dark metal and visible barrel address. Original grips which are moderately worn with the original patinated finish. Working order with the hand spring a little weak. Colorful and Civil War Union Cavalry issue. Priced reasonably.
