About 30 documented Remington Army revolvers were supplied to the Union 1st Maryland Cavalry with one of these only a few numbers from this Remington Army. Very good plus with very crisp, nicely patinated metal. “PATENT SEPT 14, 1858/E.REMINGTON & SONS/NEW MODEL” address. U.S. Government Inspector’s stamps on barrel and frame. Original grips with visible Inspector’s cartouche and the letter “H” inscribed on the butt of the left flat. Excellent working order and very good bore and chambers.
