GOOD 19TH CENTURY MOROCCAN KOUMMYA JAMBIYA AND SCABBARD. 15th “ o/a with 9” blade. Classic wood grip with pinched waist and minaret form brass pommel boss. Cylindrical shaped scabbard of wound brass and silver bands engraved with Islamic decorative motifs and Koranic inscriptions. Typical plain trade blade with very old patina. Ricasso struck with oval “P.D.L.” mark for the well known Solingen, Germany maker. Hilt and scabbard in excellent condition.
