FRENCH FLINTLOCK TURN BARREL POCKET PISTOL CIRCA 1790. 6” o/a with 2” round .47 caliber smoothbore barrel. Checkered walnut bag shaped grip with name “W. N. HOP” carved on base of butt in very old script lettering. All original and has a nice dark patina. Engraved with “STAND OF FLAG” motifs on sides of locks. Does not hold on cock but is an easy fix. Has all the original lock and hammer parts. French Revolution era. Handsome example.
