WW1 OR WWI BRITISH CONTRACT COLT NEW SERVICE .455 ELEY CAL. REVOLVER INSCRIBED E.J.H. CIRCA 1914. 5 ½’ barrel with British proofs. Back strap engraved with the initials “E.J.H.” in professionally done block lettering. Typical WW1 British Officer’s private purchase service revolver with factory lanyard ring in butt. Excellent with 95% of the original blue. Grips with light wear. Near mint bore and perfect working order. Very tight action showing only slight use. An extra nice example with factory letter.
