REMINGTON 20 GAUGE MUZZLELOADING SINGLE BARREL SHOTGUN CA. 1860-70’S. 35” round barrel. Typically unmarked. At least 10,000 were made but are seldom seen. Probably intended for sale in Mexico, Central and South America. Very good overall with the exception of a ramrod channel hole in the forend. Metal quite good with much original blue. Very good bore. Lock working but does not hold on full cock because of wear to the sear which is easily repaired. Ramrod replaced with an old wooden ramrod. Scarce Remington.
