Description:
This is a very nice L. C. SMITH SPECIALTY GRADE SXS 20 gauge shotgun. Made by Marlin June 14, 1948. 28" barrel with excellent bores, full & Modified. Full solid rib, 2 ivory beads. Featherweight model. Selective One Trigger. Automatic Ejectors. One of the Specialty grades made from May,1946 to June 1950. This shotgun was shipped on June 14, 1948. There were only 77 Specialty grades made during this period and of them only about 15 were 20 gauge. The forearm has a sliver of wood loss at the right front. There is a small repaired crack in the stock at the side of the right of the trigger guard (picture 5). LOP is 14" to a replaced pad. Comes with a CODY LETTER. C&R FFL required. ********The regular price of this shotgun was $6900.00...Nowv reduced to $4995.00.
