Description:
.74 caliber, 42 inch barrel, appears patterned after the French 1863 musket with a slimmer stock and barrel bands instead of the pinned barrel examples patterned after British muskets, possibly a colonial militia arm, no markings, correct ram rod.
Bore is dark and rough, iron barrel, lock and furniture are dull silver brown, wood has cracks near front band and slivers missing between 2nd and 3rd bands, mechanically excellent.
