Can't afford a Colt Python?? here is your answer! This is a custom made S&W Model 19 pined barrel recessed cylinder complete with target hammer, target trigger white outline sight, red ramp front. The Colt Python barrel has been perfectly machined and threaded to fit the Smith frame, the ejector rod housing has been milled out for the S&W rod. A crane lock had been installed for secure cylinder lock up. The S&W action has been hand tuned and is super smooth with a clean break for single action.I didn't go all the way as some shooters like to put their own desired "trigger pull" so there is more than enough stock left for that. The superb Industrial Hard Chrome finish was done in bright.I fired the gun before it was plated and it is VERY accurate, I will say because of the barrel to cylinder tolerance lead bullets will jam up fairly quickly on the cylinder, shoot jacketed or plated bullets only. NOTE: I just function fired this revolver with 6 magnums and 6 38 spl. 3 magnum lead heads all factory ammo. Acuracy is amazing but as I knew it started to bind the cylinder after the 3 lead bullets.
I HAVE JUST raised the price on this gun after trying to obtain parts to build a similar gun but with blueing and other options and priced just components that exceed $1900.00 now so I may need to turn down the order or charge $2550.00 for the gun.
